These terms apply when you use Radne.ai. The service is operated by Asfalia Ltd, 3 Hill Street, Edinburgh EH2 3JP. By signing up you agree to these terms.
1.1 You must be 18 or over.
1.2 You must give us a real email address you control.
1.3 One person, one account.
1.4 We may refuse to create an account or terminate an existing account at our discretion. Whatever the reason, we will refund the unused portion of your current subscription period.
2.1 You upload your CV and tell us what kind of work you're looking for. Radne.ai searches recent job listings, filters them against your preferences, and scores how well each one matches your skills.
2.2 We surface jobs and transparently show you how our system thinks you match each one. This is the system's opinion only. It does not bind us, it does not bind any employer, recruiter, or third party, and it is not a recommendation that you should or should not apply.
2.3 A search is initiated by various user actions, including logging in, uploading a new CV, updating your preferences, or asking us to re-run a search.
2.4 A typical search takes 1–2 minutes. It can take up to 5 minutes depending on the size and complexity of your CV. If your searches consistently take longer than that, contact us at [email protected] and we'll investigate.
2.5 Radne.ai is not a recruiter. We don't represent employers and we don't represent you to employers. We don't form a view about whether any particular job is right for you. Job choices are entirely yours.
3.1 Radne.ai is a subscription service. Payment is taken in advance at the start of each billing period.
3.2 Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd, stripe.com) — your card details go to them, not us. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded.
3.3 We may occasionally offer free trials or extended subscription time as a reward or promotion. These are entirely at our discretion. We may end any free trial or cancel any reward at any time without notice. Trials and rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a refund.
4.1 You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future billing immediately.
4.2 Refund within the cooling-off period. Under UK consumer law, you have 14 days from sign-up to request a full refund, no questions asked, provided you haven't used the service in a way that consumes its core value. If you've already run searches and received results during this period, we may pro-rate the refund accordingly.
4.3 Refund if we terminate your account. If we terminate your account for any reason, we will refund the unused portion of your current billing period.
4.4 No refund for voluntary cancellation within a subscription period. If you cancel partway through a subscription period — whether monthly, annual, or any other length — your subscription continues until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't pro-rate voluntary cancellations.
4.5 Refund before account deletion. If you delete your account, we delete every detail we hold about you immediately — including the contact and payment references we'd need to issue a refund. If you want a refund, request it first, then delete your account. If you delete your account without requesting a refund first, we can't process one afterwards, because we no longer have any record of you.
5.1 We expect users to use Radne.ai for personal job searching at reasonable volumes.
5.2 We reserve the right to limit, throttle, or terminate accounts whose usage falls outside reasonable personal use. Specifics may or may not be published separately and may be updated from time to time without notice.
6.1 Use Radne.ai for the purpose it's designed for: finding jobs that match your skills.
6.2 The following are examples of behaviour we consider abusive. This is not a complete list — we reserve the right to terminate any account at our discretion (with a refund of the unused portion, as in section 4.3):
6.3 For serious abuse — hacking attempts, attempts to extract data from the service, attempts to damage the platform — we will pursue damages in court.
7.1 Radne.ai uses AI to read your CV, read job adverts, and score how well they match. The AI's decisions are automated and based on patterns in the data you provide.
7.2 You can re-run searches, change your preferences, or contact us if you disagree with a score. You always see how the AI has matched your perceived skills with the job specification. If you disagree, ignore its opinion.
7.3 The AI is not perfect. It may miss good matches or score poor matches highly. The same applies to the AIs used by employers and recruiters — when our AI misses a match, theirs may too. Treat AI-driven scoring as one signal among many, not a verdict.
8.1 We don't guarantee:
8.2 We try our best, but we make no warranties, express or implied. The service is provided "as is".
9.1 We are not liable for:
9.2 Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the value of your current subscription period, less any refund you would be entitled to if you cancelled at the moment the claim arose. For example, if you are on a monthly subscription and the claim arises halfway through the month, our maximum liability is the value of half a month.
9.3 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10.1 Radne.ai uses third-party services based outside the UK to deliver the service — primarily AI processing in the United States. By using Radne.ai, you understand that your CV and job-related data may be processed outside the UK. Our privacy policy explains this in more detail.
11.1 We may add, remove, or change features of the service at any time.
11.2 If we make a change that materially reduces the service you're paying for, you can cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the remaining period.
12.1 We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published at radne.ai/terms.
13.1 You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deletion removes every detail we hold about you immediately — your CV, your taxonomy, your preferences, your history, your contact details, and our records of you. This is irreversible.
13.2 If you want a refund, request it before deleting your account. After deletion we no longer have the information needed to identify you or process a refund.
13.3 The system may refuse account deletion while you have an active paid subscription, to remind you to cancel and request a refund first. This is a backup safeguard only and should not be relied on — it may not always be operational. The rule in section 13.2 applies regardless: deleted accounts cannot be refunded.
14.1 We delete inactive accounts to keep your data exposure to a minimum.
14.2 If you don't have a paid subscription, we may delete your account and all your data after 3 months without you logging in.
14.3 If you have a paid subscription, we may delete your account and all your data 3 months after your last payment, even if you've logged in during that period. This applies if your subscription has lapsed and you haven't renewed.
14.4 We may email you before deleting an account so you have a chance to keep it.
15.1 These terms are governed by Scottish law. Any dispute will be resolved in the Scottish courts.
